Small victories push us forward. Putting things back in takes time if a standard is to be achieved but the results are well worth it. John the plasterer is back in today so the ground floor sould show some more progress today.

Munching Insects!!
After a well deserved break at the weekend and the disturbing news that the origional timbers in the roof had been visited by lots of visiting munching insects we are still pushing forward.
The timbers were retreated yesterday and may need additional support but the project moves on plastering downstairs, stud walls, electrics and plumbing upstairs. Today should see the completion of the steelwork for the stillage and hoist and the arrival of the balance of the sanitary ware.
The first pint draws nearer.

2 Weeks of the build is over.....Added a few more Pix
The build is progressing well and the stillage has arrived a few more pics added of Day 13 & 14. Stud work and electrics again tomorrow.

Should be in next week!
The saga goes on but I am confident we will be in next week. Work has started and the steel for the cellar cabinet may be in before next weekend. Lots to do now hope to be open in about 4 weeks.
Congrats To Gregg and Julie at The Snug Carnforth, this excellent Micropub is officially the best pub in Lunesdale because the guys at their local Camra branch say so and they are having their presentation on Tuesday 9th April.
